Baby East

Shawn & Andrew East are adding one more to their family with a beautiful baby arriving soon!

Unwrap Your Party was invited to create a baby shower hosted at the East home in Nashville this weekend. An intimate, close group of friends flew in to attend the shower & celebrate Baby East.

Shawn & Andrew are waiting to find out the gender of Baby East, so the colors of the shower are neutral & include sage green, a subtle mint, & light blues (this is not a hint that the baby is a boy, Shawn & Andrew love the colors!) with hints of lavender.

For this party, we created a fringe backdrop and ordered a custom name sign along with smaller acrylic signs that were displayed throughout.

Of course we had to feature a Mom-mosa bar that included fresh, organic juices like pomegranate & mango, yum!

If you were to ask us what our favorite part of this party was, we would be torn. We've been itching to design a fringe wall & were thrilled that this would be the perfect opportunity for that!

However, once the wall was completed, we couldn't let that be it. We had to have fringe hanging from the ceiling too! The girls wanted to have a onesie decorating station for guests to design articles of clothing for Baby East. After the onesies and bibs were done, we strung a clothesline for the girls to pin them up to dry.

Shawn’s been craving watermelon & waffles throughout her pregnancy. So, what better way to satisfy those cravings than with a creation of a waffle bar! Accompanying the waffle bar, a full buffet including yummy pastries & fruit, a Florentine quiche & egg casserole. To top it all off, as a thank you for traveling, Shawn loves candles & smell goods so guests are treated to a gift bag including a paddywax candle & popcorn (another Shawn staple)!
